It’s thought that more than 60 percent of women in Sri Lanka will experience domestic abuse. It includes physical, sexual & psychological harm or threat of violence, coercion or deprivation of liberty and can take place in public or private life.

Physical injury may be the most obvious danger. Emotional & psychological consequences of domestic abuse are also severe. Emotional abusive relationships can destroy your self-worth lead to depression & make you helpless & alone.

Dometic violence not only affect women as well as their own children.

We have create a space where each women feels safe to talk about her personal experience & women’s experiences are shared confidentially within our group. Together we will create a healthy & safe families.

Our aims are

1.provide a safe haven- Provide immediate access to safety & services.(Through counselling)

2.Build stable & independent lives.

3.Addresses physical and emotional needs of children.

4.Break the cycle of domastic violence.
